Stäubli Honored By Clemson University International Center For Automotive Research

    Clemson, SC – The Automotive Engineering Fellow Ceremony held at the Clemson University Campbell Graduate Engineering Center (CGEC) November 4th honored the 2008 and 2009 Fellows and their donors. Along with Stäubli Corporation Fellows Karl Garant and Justin Callies, recognized during the ceremony was Yves Stäubli, CEO, Roger Varin, CFO and Joe Gemma, Division Manager, Stäubli Corporation, Robotics Division.

    A $30,000 gift from Stäubli Corporation provides graduate fellowships for students in the automotive-engineering program at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR).

    In addressing the honorees, Tom Kurfess, the BMW Endowed Chair in Manufacturing said, “Your support allows us to bring in top-notch students which derives a better product for the marketplace and raises the level of the automotive engineering program. This is a win-win for everyone.”
